He carried 134 pounds when winning the Fall Highweight as a three-year-old against older horses, and he won his four-year-old debut in 1:07.86 for six furlongs. True Direction is out of the winning Tank's Prospect mare Ms Paragon, a daughter of Grade 3 winner Jabot, by Bold Ruler.
